Challenge

Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) Certification.

What was our approach?

We had to develop a new infrastructure because the existing one didn’t meet the requirements. To do so, we worked from scratch with Microsoft technologies. To begin with, we looked for another location to host the infrastructure. To this end, we leased a place to set up the data center, including the network. We also implemented a SharePoint to make the information available in a secure way.

Benefits

• Ability to export cards from Argentina to other countries thanks to the certification.
• Authorization to manufacture chip cards.

My role

As Project Manager and security and infrastructure leader, I reported directly to the administrative and financial director. I also put together the project and worked to align them to the PCI policies and thus obtain the certification.
